Privacy and cookie policy

This page explains what data is processed when you visit the Metsan Yay website (metsanyay.com). For details on personal data shared through the quote form and your rights under Turkish data protection law, see our privacy notice (KVKK).

1. Browsing the site

The site has no accounts, sign-up or log-in. Our hosting provider Cloudflare processes technical logs such as IP address, browser information and request time to run and secure the site.

2. Quote form

The information you enter and the files you upload are used to prepare your quote; files are stored in Cloudflare R2 storage and notification emails are sent via Resend. The form can only be sent after you confirm that you have read the privacy notice and give your explicit consent to the transfer to service providers abroad.

3. Spam protection

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated submissions. Turnstile evaluates technical browser signals for security purposes only.

4. Cookies

We do not use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies and we do not track visitors. Cloudflare and Turnstile may set strictly necessary technical cookies for security. These are required for the site to run safely and are not used to build personal profiles.

5. Third-party services

• Google Maps: the map loads only when you press “Show map”; your browser then connects to Google.
• WhatsApp: the WhatsApp button takes you to WhatsApp (Meta); the conversation is subject to WhatsApp’s own terms.
• YouTube: the link to our YouTube channel opens YouTube when clicked.

6. Retention

Quote requests and attachments are kept for 2 years from the date of the request and then deleted. Records of requests that turn into an order or contract are kept for the statutory retention periods (10 years). Uploads that are never submitted are deleted automatically within 24 hours. See the privacy notice for details.
